UPDATE 2:  Okay, so just to let everyone know - this whole situation turned out to just be my anxiety. When I wrote this - I was on the verge of a panic attack, that happened two days ago, when I first wrote this. Honestly, when I was 16, I was strapped to a machine for 3 days as a result of moderate - severe dehydration, so I am completely scarred from that, and I guess this is my body reliving it. >< Long story short - I am okay, and I think after I wrote this, I paid much closer attention to how much water I was drinking, and I was able to catch up. I still, ABSOLUTELY appreciate the advice of everyone, and it will come in handy for the future. Please know, I really, really appreciate you helping me, and you've been VERY helpful. I guess I haven't gotten back on track with myself just yet. ><

UPDATE: I figured it out for the most part. Panic sorta kicked in when I posted this... since I was worried I would be hospitalized for something like this;; good to know there are solutions that don't require a pump >< (sincerely, I was traumatized by that day... OTL sorry)

OKAY PLEASE HELP ME, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!:

What are some tips to drinking more water, if you are an extremely busy college student, take meds that make you super dehydrated, and are so dehydrated, you keep losing your arms and legs, or getting really heavy / exhausted? Also, what can you do, if you have to walk for long periods of time on a bus, and don't always have water? What can you do, if you do not usually get thirsty, and don't get hungry either? How can I prevent myself from having to go to the ER and getting latched to a machine, like I have before over stuff like this?? I cannot afford to get latched to a machine, because I have a test on Monday, and the Professor won't move it, and if I don't take it - I fail the class, and get kicked out of college. So my future is at stake here.

So far, I am drinking 2 canteens worth of water. Giant waterbottle, basically. I'm still very dehydrated. It  will take as much as 3 days for the machine, and I don't care if I have to go, as long as it's AFTER I take the test.

I know I'm on Hiatus... just thought I'd ask. I need some help.

I get myself into the worst situations, I know >< This year has been the worst year for my health, I swear...

Ugh I've headache every week because of spending all day behind my laptop for school in hot classrooms. I got the routine now to fill my 0.5L bottle every break (3 breaks a day) and drink it whole while break. So I drink 1.5 litres at school and in total some 0.5 at home. My tip is to fill your bottle on specific times of the day, for example during your break. When you go to the toilet, always take your bottle with you and fill that bastard.

Have you considered going to a doctor yet?

I will note that as well! I'll see if I can fill it up at lunch time, before school, and before I leave the college to catch the bus. That way, I don't get behind anymore.

I was definitely considering it in my situation, but if you read the updates - it turned out to just be my anxiety that made the problem far bigger than it needed to be ^^;

I would recommend getting some cucumbers, watermelon slices, or other foods that store water into your diet. 2 canteens, giant water is good for a start as you're doing. Bring some snacks if they can help you boost energy. Nuts, trail mixes, dried fruits, and/or jerky for protein.

For lack of hunger/thirst, I'm not sure. A meal plan might help set intervals on time you need to eat. Can't help much with the bus scenario, if you run out, you run out until you can refill it.

Hopefully some of these give you ideas.

That's a good idea. I'll talk with my friend about picking up some watermelons, cucumbers, and such. I've been eating apples, raisins, and trying to avoid eating too much bread or things that take away water. Maybe I can lend him my card, and he can pick up some nuts as well. I've been feasting heavily on peanut butter for the last couple of days, and I think my lack of protein is why.

Maybe I can set timers on my phone for periods of time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as snack times. That way, I don't miss a meal, but I don't over eat, or under drink either. I've been notorious for not drinking enough water with my meals, and I used to be good at drinking more water than I do eat meals - so that could be a main contributer to why I'm dehydrated.

Thank you for the ideas... I really appreciate it :) It'll help me, hopefully.

I would recommend black beans as a source of protein along with tofu. Maybe some clear soups/broth would help. Like a spinach broth or something.
You're welcome :):3 Emoticon
I hope for your sake these ideas help or give way to better ones

Thank you for the suggestions. Part of my dehydration was an onset of anxiety which can sometimes cause me to have weak legs and mimic severe dehydration symptoms. I've decided to place reminders on my phone as well as maybe drink some Gatorade and try some of the foods you recommended.

But anyway! Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it.

You can't just carry around the water bottles and keep filling them up at school? :o

That's what I SHOULD do >< But throughout the day, I keep forgetting to take it out and drink it, because I don't get thirsty, or have any urges to >< And I've gotten so behind, I'm now drinking 3 canteens and expecting myself not to puke... I just need to figure out how to make myself remember to drink enough fluids. D:

Maybe keep bottle on the top of your bag so you would always see it? :o

That's a good idea too. I've got it covered though... I'm packing my canteen in my backpack and setting "goals" / reminders for my well being XD

Hnmmm maybe you could like set an alarm or something on your phone? Just something you'd see flash up to remind yourself? Or even write it on your hand!

That's a good idea! I was thinking I could have an alarm for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - as well as snack times... but I could also give myself a reminder. I have apps like that, that could work for things like this. Since I'm staying at a friends over the weekend, I could also make him remind me. XD lol
